Cool Down

We got a little thunder, lightning and rain last night. I love to sleep when you can hear the rain fall. The Caseville cottage my parents, and then my brother had was great for that. You snuggle down under the covers and listen to the night sounds. It was a special treat to hear the Whippoorwill call. I'm not much for the city or stores but love nature and watching the wild things and sky. It doesn't cost a penny but I get much satisfaction and peace from it. Fall is here and flocks of geese and ducks are moving through. The Hummingbirds are gone and the birds that stay are gobbling up food and getting ready for the long winter. Squirrels and chipmunks are scurrying around stashing seeds. Everything is working toward the long winters nap. It is a busy time of year. Have a good week. Take some time to enjoy life.
