Happy Birthday Tom!

Today is my youngest sons birthday! I have been lucky enough to have six great kids. He is a very considerate, sensitive kid. He loves family get togethers and takes relationships very seriously. He has been a joy to us and we are proud of the man he has become. We love you Tommy! Have a great year--go for the things you want out of life but the main thing is be happy.

Happy Birthday Rich and Mom Miller!

Rich and Mom Miller celebrate a birthday on the same day. Rich is a very good Dad and husband. He loves his girls and Ann. He helps around the house and is a Great grill cook--beer and bacon have become one of our favorites. He makes us feel at home when we come to visit and we enjoy his company. We love you Rich! Dennis Mom is 87 years old. She is feisty and is a shopping professional. She gets the best deals and the best food. She is a better driver than I and is out and about from morning till night. She doesn't look or act her age--100 years here she comes. She is loved by us all and Dennis is lucky to be 65 and have his Mom still with him. Happy Birthday to you both! May the year treat you kindly and bring you happiness.

Happy Birthday Dylan!!!

Today is my youngest grandsons birthday. Dylan is a active rough and tumble boy. He took to riding a dirt bike like a pro. He is not afraid so is a handful to watch at times. He has a happy personality and is much loved by his parents and sister. Happy 5th Birthday Dylan! We love you!

Happy Birthday Matt!

Today is my grandson Matt's birthday. He is visiting his Grandparents in Florida and is having a great time. He is the second oldest boy of the grandsons. He is a joy to his parents. He got his motorcycle before he left and loves it. He is a happy, talkative guy. He is confident and being an only child, he is very independent. He will be coming to spend time with us later this month and I can see fishing and day trips to the sites in our future. Have a great day Matt! We love you!

Rain

We finally got some rain last night. We were getting a little dry so it is much welcomed. The Fourth holiday is coming and with backyard campfires and those camping it was needed. Forest fires are scarey and I don't want to go to bed smelling it in the air again. The people who fight them are very brave as a shift in the wind can bring it right to them. I appreciate them. The clouds hid the sunrise this morning. The ducks,birds and squirels were out and about not minding the rain at all. A lot to do today so I best get moving. Do something relaxing. It's Sunday a day of rest.

Happy Anniversary!

Denny and Jen celebrated their 16th wedding anniversary yesterday. I was going to post it yesterday morning got sidetracked and then forgot. They are a hardworking couple who love their son Matt and strive to make a good life for themselves. Their home is comfortable and they are always making improvements. Denny is a real handyman and can do all kinds of tile,drywall etc. Jen enjoys adding her touches and makes the finished product very nice. We love them and wish them a very good year. You both deserve the best. Love ya!

MOSQUITOES!!!!

Wow, are the mosquitoes out in force. They enjoyed a beautiful sunrise on Whitefish Bay and were waiting for breakfast. Yikes! They were all over the screens. Pita would be upset that we are preventing them from feeding but they can sacrifice their blood not mine. Have a good day and I'm stocking up on repellent. Enjoy!
