Ready for the cold

It was a very nice day. We got a dusting of snow and it has been falling most of the afternoon. Big,fluffy flakes are so pretty to watch. It is supposed to drop like a rock tonight so we got a good supply of wood in the house and some on the porch. The big lake is starting to freeze out further each day. A warm front is coming in after this freeze so we will have to see what that brings. Norm and Sandy came over for a visit last night and their company is much enjoyed. We talked about Christmas and our familys--what else do parents talk about. Kids, no matter what age are a source of pride and worry. Thomas got A's on the finals he took yesterday and we are very proud of him. I find alot to be proud about with all my kids and grandkids. Norm and Sandy, Kay and Bill feel the same way.
