Happy Birthday Terese Rose!!

Today is Terese Rose 12th Birthday. She is a sensitive, happy person. She loves to read and is a big help to me when she is Up North. She has beautiful eyes, light blond hair and a loving personality. She is the 4th of my five Granaughters and loved very much by us all. Terese, you are one of my shining jewels. Happy Birthday Ann!

Today is my daughter Anns birthday. She is the oldest and the only girl out of six kids. Dennis was so excited to have a little girl. He had 5 brothers and she was a special gift for him. Girls tend to be close to their Dad and he really wanted one of our children to be girl. She was a huge help to me when her brothers were small taking up the slack when I was at work. It is ashame how much we depend on the older kids, no matter boy or girl, when you have so much to do. She has three great girls of her own and a loving husband. You have done well Ann. You are a jewel in our lifes treasure chest. Have a great year!

Thank You Uncle Denny!!!

The kids love the pool. Dad says he is kicking them out of it tomarrow and is relaxing in the sun with the big tube Thank you Uncle Jim For bringing it up for them. Uncle Denny really made a hit with the kids when he had Jim take up the pool.

Beginning!

Another beautiful day is beginning. The sun was a huge red ball. I was disappointed because it didn't show up that way on my picture. The house is quiet, I have my cup of good Donut shop coffee and am enjoying the start of another day. All is right in our corner of the world. I hope your week will be good also.

Kyles Party

Kyle had Brenden, Aaron and Josh over with thei Mom and Dad. Norm and Sandy stopped by with their new puppy Margi. She is so cute. We went to the Falls today and we are thinking of going to the Point tomarrow.

Happy Birthday Kyle Joe!

Today is Kyle Joes Birthday. He is a happy go lucky little boy with beautiful eyes. He loves to sing and dances around to music he finds on the computer. He makes us laugh. He wants to have Brenden, Aaron and Josh over for cake and ice cream so we will have to give Terrie a call and see when is a good time. It is windy, cloudy and the waves are barrelling in. The pool is up and filled--water is cold so the kids prefer the lake till it warms up. We will have a good day. It is Kyles special day and he is tucked into our family treasure box with much love. Sunny Day

The kids were down on the beach for about 4 hours. They were finding rocks, swimming and laying on the rafts. They can spend a lot of time running and exploring. They found a colony of ants and watched them move the eggs underground. They are now out picking Blueberrys. Have a good day!

Paradise Summer

The Grandkids are having a lot of fun in the water and playing on the computers. Dylan got a DSI Excell for his birthday and he is very good about letting the others have a turn with it. They all think it is so cool. They spent most of the day on the beach and I know they will sleep well tonight. The kids are waiting for their Grandpa and Uncle Norm to finish putting up the pool that Uncle Denny sent up for them. Have a great day!

Happy Birthday Michael!

Today is our son Michaels birthday. He is the second from the youngest. There is eight years between Joe and Mike so it was like having a second family. All the other kids were there to carry, play with and spoil him. He was with Ann a lot and she took him everywhere. He was a relaxed happy kid. He now is out in Virginia with Ann, Rich, Becca, Sarah and Terese Rose. We are proud of you Mike. Go after the things you want. You are one of our treasures and are lovingly tucked in with the others. Like Tom says "I'm heaven sent" and so are you all. Have a great Year! Love Mom and Dad.

Happy Birthday Tommy!!

I should be using the name Thomas or Tom but today is my youngest sons birthday and just for a minute I'd like to call him Tommy. He has on his Facebook he is heaven sent and I agree. Mike used to pat my stomach when I was carrying him and call him Tummy Baby so how could he be anything else but Tommy when he was born. He is the youngest of six so he had the support of his sister and brothers. He had a lot of people watch out for him. He turned out to be a sensitive caring man. We are proud of his accomplishments. We love you Tommy! You are lovingly tucked in with all my treasures and you all are Heaven sent.

Today is Richs birthday. He is a kind, loving man who takes very good care of my daughter and his three girls. He has always made us feel welcome and loved. Ann and the girls know he will back them up and they are very important. We love you Rich and are glad you are in our family. You are tucked in with all the rest of our family treasures. Today is also Grandma Millers Birthday. She is an independent, fiesty Lady. She is out and about taking care of herself and does not complain. I hope I can be like her when I reach my late 80's if I am lucky enough to even get there. I can see her reaching the 100s like her Mom. My Garden

I have most of my garden in pots as we are on all sand. The plants are growing very well. Joe sent me a Ghost Chili Plant. They are the hottest peppers in the world. They spray crops with them in India to keep the elephants from eating them. I believe they are 1,000,000 rating on the hot pepper scale. They were in the Post Office for three days because of the holiday but survived very well.

Today is Jeffs birthday. He brought the two kids up north to enjoy the water and see Grandma and Grandpa and other family up here in Paradise. He is a quiet, patient man who loves his family. He does real well with the kids. Jeff and Jackie have made a safe place for their kids to grow and they both love them very much. He has taken many great pictures up here and will take them back so Jackie can enjoy seeing the kids having fun and just being kids. We all wish she could have come but I am pretty sure she will be here for the Blueberry Festival. Have a good year Jeff! Love from us.

4th of July in Paradise

Today we went and watched the 4th of July Parade in Paradise. Norm and Dennis were in it along with Ryan and the boys. It was a great parade for a little town and all the kids got a lot of candy from the people throwing it to them from the floats, tractors and other vehicles. Nice afternoon and then fireworks show tonight.

40 years this year, time seems to pass so fast. You both have done a great job in raising your kids to be good solid people. They, in turn ,are raising their familys in the same way. It is nice to look back and be able to say "We've done a good job. You have given good example and the road before you is full of happy faces and warm hugs from a number of kids and and grandkids. Happy Birthday Dylan!!

Today is my youngest grandsons Birthday. He is an active happy boy with an adventurous spirit. I think he will be a fixer of things like his Dad and Grandpa. He can figure out how things work and will learn fast when shown how to fix them. He has a lot of energy and needs things to do. He loves to go with his Dad and fishing, mushroom hunting and other outdoor things are a few of the things they do with Matt, Jims friend and his son, who is Dylans age. Kelly and Celeste take him to do other things when Jim is at work. They are a busy family. Celeste watches over her brother. Kelly and Jim made a good place for Dylan to grow and are teaching him to be a good man when he grows up. Happy Birthday Dylan! A New Month

This is the first day of a new month. We have been working and today we did a little but Dennis said enough. He is taking a shower and we are relaxing and enjoying the beautiful place we live. Everyone should have the choice to STOP and realize it is NOT things that make us happy but a chance to enjoy life with our familys. Things have been to important. Hug your kids. Make love to your better half. Take time to talk. The family is important. You are a unit. Make the most of your life. I wish I would have known what I do now when I was young. Treat your partner like you would have when you first met and your life will be so much better. We forget to make that person feel so important. Have a great month and be kind to each other.
