Birthdays!!

This has not been an easy month for Dennis and I and I have forgotten Mary,my sisters daughters birthday and Jeff, Jackies husbands birthday. They are two good people who are much loved by their familys. You both are very important and I'll try to do better next year. Today is Citlallis birthday and my cousin Debbies husband Bobs. Citlalli is a pretty girl with a big personality. She is a jewel in her grandparents treasure box of good things. Bob is a rock for my cousin and makes her very happy. The month is ending and summer seems to have never really came. I am looking forward to a new month and happier times. Life is sweet--look for the good, be kind to each other! Have a great day!

Happy Birthday Terese Rose!

Rosies Birthday was yesterday. Yep, I'm a day late posting. She understands as we had to attend Dennis brother Marks funeral. Terese Rose is a jewel. She is a happy smiley girl who loves life and goes through it with great gusto. She is sensitive to other peoples feelings and a great person to be around. She has beautiful blue eyes and light blond hair. She will be a very pretty woman in a few years. I think Terese will be taller than me next year or pretty close to it. Have a good year Rosie and keep being you. You are loved and treasured by us all.

Happy Birthday Ann!!

Today is Anns birthday. She is a very organized person. She loves her family and makes sure they have all they need. She goes out of her way to make things good for all of us. She is much loved by us all and we appreciate all her thoughtfulness and care. She is the oldest of six and she was depended on alot when she was growing up. She looked after her brothers and they still respect and love her. We love you Ann. You have great kids and a loving husband. Good job! Have a good year, you deserve it.

Sadness

It is with a heavy heart that I want to say Dennis younger brother passed away. He fought to beat the cancer that invaded his brain but it was not to be. We send our prayers and sympathy to his wife Phylis and children, Stacey and Terrie. Dennis Mom is very sad to lose a child and our hearts go out to her. We enjoyed his visits this past year and will treasure the good memories. We thank Greg for bringing him here and being the great help he was to Mark. You are a very good, loving man and we are so proud of you. Be good to each other and good night.

Happy Birthday Kyle Joe!!

Today is Kyle Joes 7th birthday. He is a happy go lucky kid. He is very happy Brendan, Aaron and Josh are coming over for his birthday. He is the 3rd in line of the grandsons. He is sensitive but does not hold grudges and very nice to have around. He has a great imagination and scares himself a little thinking of bears,wolves and coyotes up here. We love him and are happy to have him and the other grandkids for the summer. Happy Birthday Kyle Joe!!

Out of the Mouth of Babes!

I have my Grandkids up with us and Dylan wants to be just like Kyle Joe. I was trying to let him know that he should be himself and said " Be your own man Dylan" and he looked at me and said " Grandma, I'm just a kid". Dennis and I laughed. How true he was. I just love kids because they are just who they are and we love them. Pierce will be here shortly and Matt is coming up with his Dad. How lucky are we to have the company of such great kids. Terese Rose is the only girl and she is like a little mother. She trys to smooth out the rough spots and make everyone happy. She is a jewel. Have a good night and hug those important to you. What Summer!

This has been a very cool summer. I have loved it because heat and humidity are not my friend. Dennis, on the other hand, thrives on it. I wonder what the fall and winter will bring? We will have extra wood and provisions stored in case of nasty weather. I know if we do all that the winter will be mild. I guess Mother Nature can't please us all so we have to take turns getting what we like. We have been enjoying the family but sad about Dennis brother being ill. You appreciate being able to go outside and enjoy being alive when you see someone so sick. Take some time for yourself and family. Have a good day and say a kind word. Today is Mikes birthday. He is the 5th of six great kids. There is 8 years between him and Joe so he had 4 older siblings to carry, get his every want and love him. Ann hauled him everywhere with her and he still doesn't mind going shopping. We learned on the first four and relaxed on the last two. Mike is a calm, easy going guy. He loves computers and has a great bunch of friends. We love you Mike and are proud of you. Have a good year.

Today is my youngest sons birthday! I have been lucky enough to have six great kids. He is a very considerate, sensitive kid. He loves family get togethers and takes relationships very seriously. He has been a joy to us and we are proud of the man he has become. We love you Tommy! Have a great year--go for the things you want out of life but the main thing is be happy.

Happy Birthday Rich and Mom Miller!

Rich and Mom Miller celebrate a birthday on the same day. Rich is a very good Dad and husband. He loves his girls and Ann. He helps around the house and is a Great grill cook--beer and bacon have become one of our favorites. He makes us feel at home when we come to visit and we enjoy his company. We love you Rich! Dennis Mom is 87 years old. She is feisty and is a shopping professional. She gets the best deals and the best food. She is a better driver than I and is out and about from morning till night. She doesn't look or act her age--100 years here she comes. She is loved by us all and Dennis is lucky to be 65 and have his Mom still with him. Happy Birthday to you both! May the year treat you kindly and bring you happiness.

Today is my youngest grandsons birthday. Dylan is a active rough and tumble boy. He took to riding a dirt bike like a pro. He is not afraid so is a handful to watch at times. He has a happy personality and is much loved by his parents and sister. Happy 5th Birthday Dylan! We love you!
