Happy Birthday Miranda Rose!!

Big brown eyes, sweet face and the ability to twist people around her tiny finger--that is Miranda Rose. She is a Princess and will tell you she is. She is a delight to her parents and her brothers watch out for her. We all love her. She is only 3 but acts much older. She might be the baby of the family but she knows how to get her way. Happy Birthday Miranda!! You are a Jewel!

Yikes!

Well, I did it again. I posted the birthdays a day early. I thought it was the 29th. I want to make sure I don't forget and I still mess up. Sorry for the early post but the wishes are from the heart--just a day early.

Happy Birthday!!

Today is Clares 1st birthday. I just saw her this past week-end and she is growing fast. She is a real cutie. She is a little shy but once she gets used to seeing you, you are given big smiles. She is much loved by her parents and family. I missed Jodys birthday--sorry, hers was May 24th. She is my niece and I'm very proud of all her accomplishments. You are a jewel in your parents treasure. Today is also Bridgets husband Bens birthday. He works hard and takes good care of his family. He is helpful to all around him and is loved. It is a special day and we are so glad these people are in our family. Have a great day! Jackie, hug that little one for me and Nick too!!

Start of Summer?

It is still cool up here and my plants are still in the house to protect them from frost. I got a picture of the fishing boat going out this morning to check his nets. I also have a picture of the deer Charlie gave me to put on the wall. I really like it--he is a beautiful deer.

Spring Snow Flurries

We had some snow flurries yesterday.

Still Cold

My parsley and chives made it through the winter but it is no where close to the time for planting my tomatoes and other plants that can't take frost. It was cold again last night--29 degrees. The sun is shining brightly this morning but we are on the cool side. We still have snow in the front yard.

Going Home!

Dennis is at the tire store and when he gets back we load up and head home. We have had a lot of fun but there is no place like home. I can hardly wait to see the bridge and know we are only 55 miles from our place. I have some pictures to post but will do that after I get settled and unpacked. Paradise here we come!!!!!!

Mothers Day

Yesterday was Mothers Day. I got to see all my kids and grandkids that live in Michigan. It is a gift to have six wonderful children. They have made my life very meaningful. I love them and treasure them. My grandchildren are a joy and watching them grow up is an ongoing experience. Thank God for my husband, who has worked so hard for us all and them. I am a very rich woman. Have a great day!

Getting Close

We have been working on purging all the things we do not need. Take some advise from us--throw out anything you haven't used in a year. You must not need it if you haven't used it. I will be so glad to have this job done. Joe and Alida were planting trees and looking for a good spot to put a chicken coop. The chicks are all feathered out and need more room. They sure are fun to watch. Tomarrow we load up the truck and trailer. We want to be one of the first ones in line for the clean up day. Hurrah! Have a good night!

Another Year Done

We are finished with another Review Session. It was very tiring but alot of fun. Ann, Joe,Mike,and Scott are runing in a marathon tomarrow evening. They have been training and are eager to see what they can do. They are all watching the Wings game and are cheering and then yelling at the ups and downs.
