Spring Trying

Snow is melting. Smelt are running. Spring is trying to gain more of a foothold. The bugs will soon be tormenting humans and animals alike. Enjoy the days without them. Have a good night.

Today is Dennis brother Garys birthday. He is the second oldest of six brothers. Gary, like his other brothers, watch over their Mom and take care of all her needs. He loves his wife and kids and takes great pleasure watching his grandkids grow. He is loved by his family and has done well in life. We are happy to have him in our family. Have a great year, you earned it. Love ya!

Ships

Ships have returned to the waters of the Big Lake. It is nice to see them when I get up to put wood on the fire at night. It sure looks lonely out there, a small spot in a lot of water. I can't imagine being out there during a storm.. There is so much to see anytime of day or night--it's just taking the time to really look. Have a good day!

Rest

I know this is supposed to be Spring but there is something about the wind and the snow that is so calming to the soul. I look forward to snuggling in my bed and listening to the wind blow in the pines and the waves hit the last bits of ice on the lakeshore. It is wonderfull to have a companion who loves you to lay with and listen to the sounds of the night. It is comforting and lulls you to a restfull sleep. Good Night and sweet dreams!
