Completed!

Well, the last week is done and Jim, Joe and Mike headed for home yesterday. It was a good week and we are already looking forward to next year. We met many interesting people and had a great time even though it was a work week. Yesterday , we went to the vineyards and tasted some of Virginias great wines. Dennis and I had a good time and wish the time wouldn't pass so fast. We decided to start our trek back on Tuesday.

Pictures

The kids are going back as school starts again on Monday. They were a lot of fun to have up here. Spring is coming as you can see from the pictures below. The big ships are once again on the lake and fishing boats are trying to break through the ice in the harbor to get to open water. It is a renewal of the life circle. Have a good day!

Yooper tanning

It is 46 degrees and the Yooper is out tanning on the deck. He got a little pink the day before yesterday from the bright sun. Ahhhh! He loves the sun. It is surprising how warm it feels out there. Spring is really here.

Out Walking

It has been a beautiful day and we went out for a stroll. The falls were really beautiful.

new room

Joe has been working on a new room. Denny came over and is doing the mudding. It should offer a lot more room. Denny has gotten pretty good with the drywall--we are lost at how to do it.

Playing in the snow

Celeste and Matt are off school this week. They came up to stay with us and went snowshoeing with Grandpa. They were out playing most of the time in the deep snow drifts. This morning we saw the coyote on the ice and the icebreaker was still trying to help ships navigate the clogged ice channels. The lake has not started to break up yet and it was only 9 degrees when I got up at 6:30. Spring is still a way off up here.
